Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Corto); dear father of Michael, Kerri and the late Joseph Higgins; brother of Mary (Mickey) Buchheit, Corine (Ron) Gilson, late Patrick, Bernard and Thomas Higgins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Friday from 4-8:00 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM at St. Teresa’s Church (please assemble at Church). Flowers are gratefully declined.
