I will miss Colleen! She was a very loving person. I am blessed to have known Colleen. One special memory that I will forever hold in my heart, is how thoughtful she was of me at the time of my son Paul's passing, this past September. Colleen left a box of treasures on my front porch, that would help me, during my time of grieving. I wish that I would have been home that day. I will be lifting the family up in prayer.

Matt, Aiden and Ryan, Your mom is a beautiful light to this world. Never stop looking for her in the light. She is an amazing woman with a heart of gold who always cared for others. She loves you all fiercely and will be your biggest protector for the rest of your lives. Unfortunately some of the most amazing people are taken too soon. Your mom and I attended Mercy together. We both had the unfortunate luck to have lost children as well. Your mom sent me a Christmas ornament the year that my son died. (It was a surprise and I still cherish it to this day) it will always hang on my tree as a reminder of how much your mom loved others. Colleen was the the highlight of my every day at Springville Elementary. She walked into my door every morning with a smile, and of course we would giggle about something to keep our day positive. She had the best sense of humor and the biggest heart. I have been incredibly blessed to have had her friendship in my life. She always made sure her students knew how much she loved them, whether it was brushing their hair for them, making sure they had clean clothes, giving them toys that they didn’t have, and so much more. It wasn’t always about how much the kids could learn, but how much love they needed to feel important and worthy to learn. I will always remember the fun we had doing what we loved everyday. Even on the difficult days, Colleen was able to put a smile on anyone’s face. I will miss you everyday, fly high my friend.

Mrs. Gallivan was my son's teacher in the Springville Middle School. She was always very kind and caring. We had a fire in our house and she personally called us to ask if we needed anything. Matt and Jen, Colleen entered our lives as one in a group of young, fun Mercy girls. Curbing trouble for them as they engaged in their shenanigans was a pursuit of mine as an older sister. Colleen was more than one of the group. She became our family. Living away from home, I could pick up with her like no time had passed. She was a wonderful, and constant friend for my sister, through thick and thin. Her spirit was light and welcoming. Our hearts are heavy and brimming with love we had for her. We will remember all that she brought into our lives. All of our strength and prayers to you in this difficult time, and our love to the boys.

Colleen was always trying to create memories with Ryan and Aidan. Hopefully they will find some comfort in this awful time by remembering the many day trips and activities she planned for them. I cherish the days at my pool where she and I would catch up in the hot tub while the boys frolicked in the pool. I love and miss you girlfriend. You were one of a kind!
