I am sorry for this tardy post, but I only today found out about Vince's passing. I know Vince through the Buffalo Hockey League, a fantasy league that Vince joined back in 1989. He has served as league treasurer every year since then and has always been faithful and honest to his duties. I will miss our annual draft meetings at my house in October. I've always considered him a friend and throughout the years he has always displayed the kindness I could see in his heart. He will be missed.

Pete- My deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family. Vince was a joy to be around both at work and in public. I enjoyed working with him while subbing in Buffalo along with many friends and colleagues. He will be sadly missed especially at our Tim Horton gatherings. May God bless his life! He was great!

Sorry to hear of Vinnie's passing.I was a member with him in a fantasy hockey league for a while.Before that,I remember when he and Pete used to come to our softball games back in the 80's.I enjoyed running into him at church,and especially at Queen of Heaven carnival.Too young to go.

Vinny was one of the best. He always put everything in front of himself. True definition of selfless. He was one of a kind. I knew him 20 plus years at Denny's. He was kind, generous, and very hardworking. We are all devastated at work, and to his family we are all grieving with you. May God heal your broken hearts, and know he was loved and will be missed.

Our friendship with Vince started in the '80's at Denny's and fortunately continued throughout his lifetime. You were one of the most selfless people we knew. That is pretty much the most admirable trait one can have. We will remember your distinctive voice, the kindness you exhibited to your friends and family, and our laments to our sports teams. We raise a glass to you Vince, Cheers friend. My heartfelt sympathies to the entire O'Neill family. I know of no one who was more strongly committed to "Honoring Your Father and Your Mother" than Vince. His always enduring oversight of his mom and brother Pete stand as a tremendous example to us all as to what family is really about. I will so deeply miss our fun-filled trips to Vegas and Vince's voice jumping up five levels when he got excited in a good debate. I'll always think of Vince when I see the Bills, Fighting Irish and Oakland A's.....his beloved teams. Wish I could sit next to him right now and buy him a cold Molsons! I will see you again some day in heaven my friend.
