Kieth was an inspiration to those of us who knew what it took to drive oneself to get up early and go to the Y to exercise. The fact that he had great difficulty in mobility further gave us an admiration for his drive to be there every morning where most people would prefer to forgo the thought of exercise and remain comfortably in their beds. We enjoyed his quips on life and current events for all of which he will be missed by his YMCA family. Our sincere condolences to his family and know that many people who knew him held him in the highest regard.

Brook and Heather, I am soooo sorry to hear about your father's passing. I was shocked when friends who knew him from the YMCA came and told me at the Dog Bar yesterday. He was such a sweet and funny man. I enjoyed every time that you all came for dinner, when you you come to town. You both have my deepest sympathy. I along with many others will miss him dearly. I hope to see you the next time you are in town for the football game. All my love, hugs, and kisses. Sincerel, Joyce Transki

While I didn't know Mr. Knodel well at all, he always offered a kind "good morning" with a smile at the YMCA at 5:00 am! I am so sorry for your loss.
