April 3, 1935 - February 20, 2025 Beloved husband of Katharina (Burg) Sedlmeier. Dear father of Edward (Darcie), Norman (Patricia) and Carol (James) Duchmann. Loving grandfather of Sean, Christopher, Brett, Brandon, Tyler, Brittany, Kristin and Adam; also survived by six great-grandchildren. Son of the late Joseph and Magdalena Sedlmeier. Brother of Gabrielle, Hilde and predeceased by Arna, Alfriede, Analiese and Mary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday February 27th from 3 to 7 p.m., at the JAMES W.CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC.,3155 Orchard Park Rd., (716)675 - 9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday February 28th at 10 a.m., at St.Bernadette’s Church. Please assemble at church. Interment to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Erie County SPCA and/or Hospice Buffalo. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Sedlmeier opened the North Ellicott Garage in 1964, owned and operated Southtowns Marine in Orchard Park and was the proud owner of VW of Orchard Park. He was also a proud member of the NFADA
