Ron and family, I’ve known Jeanne since Kindergarten, then through 3rd grade at St. Joe’s. We became friends again at Gibbons and would see each other at reunions. The past few years we’ve had the pleasure of spending time together with our husbands in Florida visiting, sightseeing, laughing and playing cards. I have great memories that I cherish. My hope is that your happy memories are a comfort to you now. God bless you all. RIP my friend. ❤️

One of my favorite memories of Aunt Jeanne was at Christmas time. She would make chocolate chip meringue cookies and one year, I ate almost all of them by myself and of course I got yelled at for that (haha) but every Christmas after that, Aunt Jeanne made me my very own batch which I always looked forward to. Thank you for making my holidays brighter. You fought a hard fight for many years, I hope you rest easy. Love you.

I had Mrs. Roma as a teacher my senior year. She taught a public speaking class, and she made it so fun. The other seniors became so close because of the bonding skills that she had. I'm so appreciative of helping me to develop my communication skills.

Jeanne was a special person and a leader in high school and throughout her life. We lost touch after high school but reunited through all the BGHS reunions. We also talked many times since she had multiple myeloma as does my husband. We always sat together at the Roswell Xmas parties and the summer picnics for Roswell patients. She was very strong in her fight. May she rest in peace. Deepest condolences to her entire family

Jean Roma was an outstanding individual & person. Also a fantastic English Teacher at Iroquois HS and Department Chair of the English Department. I was the HS Principal at Iroquois and had the honor of working with Jean and recognizing all of the students she reached, taught, and established outstanding relationships with. She was one of a kind! A natural instructor & leader in our building. God Bless, Dennis G Kenney

So sorry to hear about Jeanne . I only know her as Dunne as I spent 8 years at St Joes and then 4 years at Bishop Gibbons . Jeanne was one of the most pleasant people I have ever met . We lost contact after high school but always great to see her at the reunions . I will always remember her loving smile. David Szuromi
