Jim was one of the nicest, most down to earth people I have ever met. With the short time we worked together, he became someone I'm very proud to call my friend. I feel like it wasnt a week ago we were talking about getting a beer. Im going to miss the stories, the laughing, and most of all I'm just going to miss Jim.

The Carriero Family,
Sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I knew him briefly as a little kid growing up on Bradley Lane. I remember him as being a kind soft spoken sensitive boy that I liked. I have included a pic that I hope makes you smile.

A fellow “brother” is lost on this Earth but God has a seat for him in Heaven. A Saint Francis brotherhood is forever. “God…please watch over his family and lay his soul to rest”.

My dad was one of the strongest, bravest people I will ever know. He was loving and kind and supported me through all. Just recently we attended Octoberfest in Cleveland together and made so many happy memories. I don't usually like to drink outside of the house, but dad always made me feel safe. I knew no matter what he'd look out for me, and he always did. Even in his last weeks, my stressed texts were met with a simple "don't worry, Kittycat."
Dad's method of emotional conversations typically included playing a country song for me. I've been wondering what song he'd play for a situation like this that would make me roll my eyes and tease him about how cheesy he is, but I guess it's my turn to pick a song. I hope he'll approve- countrys never been my genre of choice.
"Hearts will break, we cry, we grieve
We die, we go but never leave
We linger in the lives of those we love
We're flesh and bone and beams of light
A body breaks, a soul takes flight
And faith is left to heal what tears can't touch
You're not gone, just out of sight
You're here with me, wherever you are tonight."

I have no words. I'll never forget all the fun we had. This was our wedding. Jim was in the service that the time. I'll never forget the sign he had made...Tom said "I DO" Darlene said "YOU WILL".. To James, Cara, Johnny, Cindy, Momma and Papa C.. But, to you Christy.. Cherish the memories. Know that Jim was a wonderful Son, Brother, Father, and Friend. But, also a wonderful Husband. Jim, your gonna be missed. Going to miss my once a month phone call to check on me. Tell Tom I miss him. Until we meet again.. Rest In Peace
