Obituary of James J. O'Shaughnessy

Passed away April 3, 2025; Beloved husband of Jaclyn (Doyle), Dear father of Kevin (Jessica) and Mary (Matt) Brown Loving grandfather of Elisabeth, Jameson, Shea and Scarlett Brother in law of Marilyn Doyle and Susanne Lesswing Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Sunday April 6th from 1-5PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Road (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday April 7th at 10:00AM at Queen of Heaven Church 4220 Seneca St. West Seneca, NY 14224. Please assemble at church. The interment will take place at 1:30PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, please meet at the office located near the South Park Ave entrance. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oishei Children's Hospital. James retired from the Erie County Corrections Facility. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Msgr. Nash Council and a disabled Air Force veteran. He was an avid Bills, Sabres and Yankees fan.
