BRIDON, David P., passed away on April 8, 2025, beloved husband of Andrea (Richards) Bridon of 39 years, dear father of Col. Daniel David (Diane) Bridon and Angela Susan (Thomas) Szczygiel, loving grandfather of Jade (Karol) Porebski, Gabrielle (John) Hogan, Joshua Bridon, Ethan and Mathew Szczygiel, great grandfather of Elizabeth and Jeremiah, son of the late Fred and late Joyce (Smith) Bridon, former husband of the late Linda (Havens) Bridon, brother of Steven (Debra) Bridon and the late Thomas (Laurel) Bridon and late Peggy (Greg) West. Friends and family may call on Sunday April 13th from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Vianney Church on Monday at 10:00 am (please assemble at church). Donations may be sent to the White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary, 35 Lewis Rd, Akron, NY 14001. Dave was a member of the Knights of St. John Commandery #387 and the AMVETS Post #45 in Orchard Park for over 10 years, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and worked at Prior Aviation for over 37 years. He was known as the “de-icing guru” at the Buffalo Airport. He also accompanied the Buffalo Bills for every away game as security screener until his retirement. He then drove for Auto Planet Leasing, importing cars from Canada. In 2021, he drove Route 66 with Daniel and Josh. He loved his family and his 2013 “Plum Crazy” Dodge Challenger.
