HOGAN, William “Bill”, William “Bill” Hogan, 1960 – 2025, proud St. Bonaventure alumnus, accomplished marketing executive, and beloved friend to many, passed away peacefully in 2025. Bill graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in Journalism in 1982. His love for SBU never faded, and 30 years later, he returned to earn a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications, a testament to his passion for learning and growth. He began his career at several advertising agencies, where he quickly made a name for himself directing and producing some of the early Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres sports shows — even stepping in front of the camera when needed. Bill’s career later transitioned into the medical sales and manufacturing industry, where he served as Vice President at Matrx/Midmark Companies. Even as he rose through the ranks of the corporate world, his creative spirit stayed strong; he founded Hogan Advertising, blending his love for storytelling and marketing into his own agency. Over the years, Bill held leadership roles as Vice President of Marketing for Gorman Bus Company, Hillside Family of Agencies, Kearns & Associates, and Kelleher Law. At every stop, he built strong relationships and left an enduring mark, both professionally and personally. Bill’s career was defined by creativity, leadership, and an unmatched ability to connect with people. He cherished the lifelong friends he made along the way, and his warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed.
