ABBOTT, Daniel S., passed away suddenly on May 2, 2025, beloved husband of Meghan (Hycner) Abbott, dear father of Madison and Griffin Abbott, loving son of Robyn (Hoar) Abbott and the late Leonard Abbott, brother of Amber (Christopher) McKay and Justin (Amanda) Abbott, son-in-law of Ken and Peggie (Licker) Hycner, brother-in-law of John and David Hycner. Friends and family may call on Tuesday May 6th from 5-7:00 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716) 675-9027, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 7th at 10:00 am, the interment will follow the services at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery in Lancaster. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and or the S.P.C.A. of Erie County. Dan loved to hunt, fish and golf.
