My sincere condolences to the Parisi family. My Dad (Art) and I had the pleasure of working with Joe at GM/American Axle. He was one of the best! He was a respected, no nonsense guy and he made people laugh. He could say things to bosses that nobody else could get away with. He taught me a lot along the way in my early career. I am sorry I wasn’t aware of Joe’s passing in time to make the funeral - but from My Dad and I - our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

For Joe and the family...the memories are so numerous. From grammar school thru high school and all the way to now...my friend for almost my entire life...all sports, our "frat" meetings where u kept all the money, drinkin your father's wine before it was done, the dance nights, hoppin trucks, pool hall, la hacienda pizza, your paper route, your famous headlock which I experienced first hand, and on and on...I'm gonna miss you!!
It was a thrill being your only Irish buddy
RIP Giuseppe

After meeting Joe in kindergarten at Holy Family, we did it all, it was another world another time . Growing up in the 50’s was totally awesome. No matter what mischief we got into every night, as long as we headed home when the church bells rang , all was good.
Joe was the smallest in our little group of friends but tough as nails and fearless . He was a great athlete, good at what ever he tried, a natural. From baseball to horse shoes, he was in it to win , a true competitor.
After our service in Vietnam, we got busy raising our families, but always stayed in touch . A few times each year we would meet at Talty’s, that is Terry Shanahan, Mario Pacella, Andy Collura, Tom Kenezevic, Jim Fredo ( who lives out of town now ) Frank DeJames and Jimmy Lolla ( both who have passed on ). Our memories from Mulroy Playground are still absolutely awesome, such great times we had…. RIP JOE
