Passed away May 7, 2025 Beloved husband of Gail (King) Parisi Dear father of Kristin (Dan) Vivian, Joseph Parisi and Nicholas (Jennifer) Parisi; Loving grandfather of Abigail (Michael) Maiorana, Paige (Aron) Borzillieri, Maire Vivian, Riley Vivian, Madeline, Naomi, Athena, Gianna, and Aria Parisi Great grandfather of Iyla, Maeve, Mila and Nico. Son of the late Frank and Maria (Cisale) Parisi Brother of Sabato, Anthony, Mary, Rose Guzzo, Frank (Maria) and first daughter Josephine (John) Dasta Also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially his other son and nephew Marc “Momaluke” and his friends from Mulroy and the Pool Hall Al and Terry. Friends may call Friday May 9th from 3-8PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd. (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday May 10th at 9:30AM at Our Lady of Charity Parish – Holy Family Worship Site 1901 South Park Ave. Buffalo, NY 14220. Please assemble at church. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family has asked that rather than sending flowers, please send a donation in Joe’s memory to Elderwood at Grand Island 2850 Grand Island Blvd, Grand Island, NY 14072. Mr. Parisi retired from General Motors after 30+ years. He loved coaching his sons in baseball and football. He was a long-time coach at Sting Rays Little League, and a former football coach at Canisius High School and Bishop Timon St. Jude High School. He was known as the “Mayor” of Sherkston and loved Disney World. He was a proud to become a United States citizen and was a decorated veteran of the United States Army, earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart among many other medals.
