Obituary of Dorothy List

Beloved daughter of the late Emil W. and Mildred B. (Schmidt) List. Fond sister of the late Robert F. (Phyllis) List of Tyrone, Pennsylvania and the late Arlene M. (Alfred) Marziale of Deltona, Florida. Dorothy is survived by many nieces and nephews and grand and great nieces and nephews. She worked at Merchants Mutual Insurance Company in Buffalo for 47 years prior to her retirement. She was a life time member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Depew, NY where she served on the Church Board and was instrumental in the establishment of the Child Development Center and Adult Day Care Center at the church. A Celebration of LIfe Service will be held Saturday May 24, 2025 at 10:00AM at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church 1025 Borden Rd. Depew, NY. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY. No prior visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to either Hospice Buffalo and/or the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Depew, NY.
