Our dad, Buzz, taught Bobby and myself to be respectful and to always give a firm handshake. Msgr., would always say” real men don’t hug they shake hands. Well we heard that one too many times and began to hug him when saying goodbye. I even gave him a kiss on occasion. The last time l said goodbye he got his handshake a hug and kiss and he said, “ l love you.”
