My condolences to all of Ray's family, especially Jeanne. Legendary school principals are among my favorite people and "Mr. Cooley," as my sister Joanne has always called him, was one of the best. I'm in Brooklyn and am sorry I can't attend the wake or the funeral Mass, but I will offer Mass for Ray and remember all of you in my prayers. Remember the words of St John Chrysostom, "Those whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are."

If God ever sent us a Special Gift it was Ray. I have shared many Special Memories with him all thru the years. He once told me that he would always refer to me as his Sister in Law even though I was no longer and that I should always refer to him as my Brother in Law. This Loving Gentle Man will be in my heart forever. My Deepest Sympathy to his Family. ♥️ Pat Irizarry
