The Crangle Family is so very sorry for your loss! Jack was super close to my Dad, Joe Crangle. Jack was a regular out at our cottage in Lotus Bay, every weekend all of their closest tennis buddies would be on the court. Jack was like a rock star to all of us. He would use his tennis racket and pretend that he was playing his guitar and sing great songs. We’d all laughed and all loved him so much!! He was truly a special person!
God Bless and so sorry for your loss!

In childhood days and grown men’s ire.
But hand in hand, through joy and strife,
He walks beside you all your life."

Jack Catanzaro posted a condolence

I showed up at Jack's door in December of 1990 fresh out of college and eager to start my career in the big City. As our families were old friends, Jack immediately took me under his wing and showed me the ropes. He treated me like a little brother from that day on. He took me to all the great hot spots and introduced me to everyone. Jack was a legend in NYC back then and everywhere we went people wanted to be around him. He treated everyone with kindness and respect regardless if they were famous or a regular Joe. When friends or family from Buffalo came in for a visit Jack couldn't have been more accommodating and gracious. We had the greatest times. Unfortunately we both had to grow up and leave NYC but what a run Jack had. I was honored to be a small part of it. If there is a bar in heaven I trust Jackie is there and is terrorizing his favorite bartenders from P.J. Clarke's, Coles and Smith and Wollenskys. God speed my friend they'll never be another like you. Jack Catanzaro

My Uncle Jack is at peace. There are men who enter a room and ask for attention, and then there are men like Jack, who enter a room and become the rhythm to which everyone else subconsciously calibrates. He was not simply central to a party’s pulse—he was its tempo, its melody, its unspoken refrain. Like the other Reville brothers, he knew the fine art of presence: advice delivered with a wink and a limerick, a Sinatra impression that made you close your eyes and swear you’d been transported, for just a moment, to somewhere velvet-lined and eternal.
His was a humor that sharpened the air, a style that needed no approval to be unmistakable. He was often imitated but never duplicated. His absence will echo in the corners of our favorite bars, in the silences between jukebox tunes, in the laughter of his eight grand nieces and nephews who will one day say, “You should’ve known him. You would’ve loved him.” And they will be right.
