Passed away on August 15, 2025, beloved husband of the late Patricia (Bohen) Edbauer, loving father of Sharon (Paul) Palisano, Margaret (late Keith) Reynolds, Suzanne (Joseph) Balthasar, Patrick (Pamelyn) Edbauer; dear grandfather of Megan (Jeff), Ryan (C.J.), Jill (Brett), Nick (Sarah – Fiancé ) , Sammy Jo, Joey, Ian, Martha, Aidan, great-grandfather of Jaxson, Aubrey, Hudson, Logan, Forrest, Charles, Vincent, Sterling and Teddy, son of the late Ruth (Davis) Meredith. Brother of Linda (late Richard) Cera, late Teresa (Robert) Grande, and the late Geraldine (late Daniel) Horrigan. Brother-in-law of Mary Ann (late Jeremiah) Hassett, late Barbara (late Ralph) Ward and John (late Sandy) Bohen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial held Thursday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Perpetual Church, 115 O’Connell Street in the Old First Ward, please assemble at Church. Mr. Edbauer was a retired engineer with Conrail Railroad, past president of B of L.F.E. - former L.C. United Transportation Union - Former L.C. Brotherhood Locomotive Engineers and member of the Depew Polish Falcons Club, Long Shoremans Assoc. Local 928, Grain Scoopers Local 109 and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainman Division 659.
