Obituary of A. Robert Gilson

Please share a memory of A. Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Today we gather to celebrate a man, that mere words could never fully describe. With that being said, we will do our best, to express in words, what our hearts feel. Bob was an amazing and strong example of one of God's angels. As everything he did and said, was done with divine intention. By the way he loved his wife, with grace and gentle strength. To the beauty in which he loved and taught his children how to be adults. To love Bob, was to know Bob. God blessed him with a beautiful life and the ability to live it abundantly. Throughout the years, he has touched the lives of countless people. He understood life in a way, that showed others how our heavenly Father, meant for us to live. By being a devoted husband. To a stern, but a constant loving support and guide to his children. Always taking, whatever time away from work to be present in his children's lives. With long trips and adventures, to create fond memories, that he shared with his family. He loved the open road, and took to its trails as often as he could, on his Indian or his Harley. One could only imagine , the joy and freedom he felt as he road. As a young man, he taught himself how to fix all types of vehicles. That drive and desire made it possible for him to share his gift with the world. There are so many lives that he touched, from simple fixes, to major overhauls. Bob also flew planes and sailed the seas. He was always the adventurer. Constantly on the go. From long drives with the love of his life. to long bike rides with his brother. The impact he's had in the lives that he's touched, is unmeasurable. His presence here on earth will be missed, but his spirit will live on in all of us. Thank you Bob we will always remember and cherish all that you've been and done for all of us. We will miss you deeply. Until we meet again. We love you, Poppa. Gilson, A.
