Obituary of Joseph P. Lawson

Passed away September 22, 2025 Beloved husband of the late Ardith (Manley) Lawson and Dearly loved by Anne M. Schlager. Dear father of Daniel J. and Joseph T. (Beth) Lawson and dear stepfather of Susan (Ronald) Hoeflich, Michael Schlager, Karen (Christopher) Anderson. Loving Grandfather of Jamie, Kearstie (Joseph) Bienias, Jillian Lawson, and 8 step grandchildren. Great grandpa of Cole Lawson and 9 step great grandchildren. Son of late James D. Sr & Anna (Murphy) Lawson. Brother of Ann (late Vern) Dettman, Dorothy (Pat) Fitzpatrick, Carol (late Richard) Hoffman, late Thomas (late Tootie) late James (late Catherine) late Joan (late Robert) Spangenberg, late John, late Donald Lawson Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 3-7PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME 3155 Orchard Park Rd. 716-675-9027.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:15AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church. 26 Thorn Ave Orchard Park, NY.  Please assemble at church.  Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Mr Lawson was a proud member of Local 4 Asbestos Workers Union and a proud volunteer of the McKendry Site conducted by the UB archeological survey.
