Obituary of Carl G. Huebbers III

Please share a memory of Carl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Of Chili, NY, passed away December 2, 2025, at the age of 47. Predeceased by his uncle, Jimmy Fraley. Survived by his daughter, Maddie; parents, Carl Jr. and Elsie; brother, Justin (Nicole); dog, Loki; aunts and uncles, Bradley (Kerry) Huebbers, Christopher Huebbers, Debbie (Paul) Cebula, Cathy Fraley, Cindy (Leon) Tarasiewicz, Jerry Fraley, Bridget (Paul) Ratajczak, Sandy (David) Mellerski and Brian Fraley; and many cousins and dear friends. Carl Huebbers was a truly one-of-a-kind human being. He was born in Oklahoma, but lived in Colorado for three years, where he obtained his love for the Denver Broncos. After moving to Rochester at 11, he attended St. Pius X. Later, he was a student athlete at Aquinas Institute playing nearly every sport imaginable. He excelled at tennis, baseball, football, and even basketball, which is surprising given his height. After graduating from there, he attended Canisius College, from which he graduated with a degree in Biology. He later attended Bryant and Stratton College, from which he became a physical therapy assistant, a job which he both loved and thrived at. He made an amazing difference in many of his patients’ lives. He loved to travel anywhere with his family, from Hawaii to Italy, but his favorite places were anywhere warm where he could just lay in the sun. Some of his favorite trips were to different zoos throughout the country with his daughter. He loved any physical activities and could be called a bit of an adrenaline junkie. He’s been swimming with the sharks, zip lining, and has hiked part of Mt. Vesuvius. While staying athletic, he also was a complete nerd. He loved anything Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. His favorite hobby was playing video games, particularly Final Fantasy. At the end of the day, Carl was an amazing son, an amazing brother, and the most amazing dad. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Family and friends may visit the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC.
