Obituary of James R. Putnam

PUTNAM, James R., passed away on December 3, 2025, beloved husband of Deborah "Debbie" (Witkowski) Putnam, dear father of Matthew Putnam and Michael (David Arida) Putnam, son of the late Robert and Margaret (Duffy) Putnam, brother of Mary Murphy, Robert (Donna) Putnam and the late Thomas (late John Kranikfelt) Putnam, brother-in-law of Paul Murphy and Walter (Denise) Witkowski, also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends and family may call on Monday, December 15th from 4-7:00 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 16th at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, please assemble at Church. The burial will follow the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
