Passed away on January 3, 2026; Beloved husband of the late Helena M. “Eileen” (Shea) Sheehy. Dearest father of Brigid (Paul) Ryan and Maura (John) Siano. Adoring grandfather of John Thomas and Helena Mary Siano. Son of the late Francis T. and Josephine A. (Britt) Sheehy. Loving Brother of Joanne (late James) Schlee and the late James (late Phyllis) Sheehy. Uncle of Deborah (Jay) Chambers, Cathleen (Russ) Smith, late Mark Francis Schlee, Coleen (Robert Hall) Shea, Michael (Angela) Shea, Brian (Magda) Shea, Mary Clare (Patrick) Hourihan and the late Eileen Shea. Brother-in-law of the late John P. (Patricia) Shea and late Teresa Shea. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins. Friends and family may call on Friday January 9th from 3-7pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday January 10th at St. Martin of Tours Church at 9:30AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Mercy Spirituality Center 65 Highland Ave. Rochester, NY 14620. Mr. Sheehy was a proud Navy Veteran and a longtime volunteer for the American Red Cross and active for many years at the Buffalo Irish Center.
