WOHLRAB, James J., passed away on January 10, 2026, beloved husband of 63 years to the late Lorraine (Walsh) Wohlrab, dear father of Kathleen Wohlrab, Virginia "Ginny" (late William "Billy") Hogan, Michael (Maggie) Wohlrab, Mary Ellen (Jerome Tarpy) Wohlrab, Joanne (Jim) Sabio, loving grandfather of Loving grandfather of Andrew (Natalie) Cappello, Michael Cappello, Connor (Anna Filatov, fiancé) Eddy, Sean Hogan, Patrick (Victoria) Hogan, Elizabeth (Mack) Walker, Colleen (Margot) Babington, Patrick Wohlrab, Ella Sabio and Dylan Sabio, great grandfather of Thomas, Alexander, Virginia and Molly, son of the late Charles and Katharine (Fowler) Wohlrab. Friends and family may call on Friday, January 16th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 10:30 am at Nativity of Our Lord Church (please assemble at church). The burial will follow the Mass at the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Society; donate.nationalmssociety.org. Mr. Wohlrab was a long-time W.N.Y. District Manager of the John Hancock Insurance Company, a U.S.Marine Corps Veteran, he graduated from Aquinas High School and St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY, a longtime member of the Bishop Burke Council of The Knights of Columbus in Orchard Park, he loved to travel and golf with his wife and got a hole in one at the Orchard Park Country Club.
