Passed away February 12, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Karen (Schnorr) Gartelman. Dear father of Carleen (Shaun) Conrad, Stephen and Laura (Blake Greenawalt) Gartelman. Loving grandfather of Jack, Grace and Brooke Conrad. Son of the late John and Hilda (Turner) Gartelman. Brother of the late James (Christine) Gartelman and late Alice Faraguna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday February 18th from from 4-8PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd. 716-675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday February 19th at St. John Paul II Parish at 10:00AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Roswell Park c/o the GI Unit. Mr. Gartelman was a longtime high school basketball coach at St. Francis and Williamsville South and a member of IIABO for over 35 years.
