Doris was a true friend throughout our childhood and early adult years. She knew exactly what to say to make you feel brighter days were ahead and she didn’t shy away from telling you to “toughen up buttercup “ and be strong. We enjoyed cups of tea and laughter in our youth and then moved on to Tim Hortons and the clearance racks at Kaufmans in our adult years. I will miss her uplifting text messages and beautiful heart.

Sophia, Nick, Alex, Branden and your family, I am deeply saddened to hear Doris is no longer here with us. I hope you find comfort knowing how much you were all loved, she talked about you all with such love in her heart a huge smile on her face. She loved you all so much and would do anything for any of you I know how well she raised her kids. Having her in your heart will take you anywhere you want to go in your life.

Today at church there were three little girls in front of me playing. It reminded me of when we were little and you had us play the song all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth and had us hold hands and dance around the Christmas tree. You were so excited for Christmas. I will miss you until we meet again in heaven ❤️.
