ROHLOFF, Raymond C. April 8, 1946 — April 9, 2026 Raymond C. Rohloff, affectionately known to friends and family as "Big Ray" or "Ray Dizzle," passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He had just reached two incredible milestones: his 80th birthday and his 54th wedding anniversary. A graduate of West Seneca High School, Ray answered the call to service early in life, serving with honor in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. His time in the service instilled in him a sense of duty and resilience that he carried into his long and successful career at General Motors. Ray spent many years on the sidelines as a volunteer football coach for Airlanes Jr Football. He took great pride in mentoring young players, teaching them the value of hard work and sportsmanship. In his retirement, Ray found his "happy place" in Florida with his wife Anita, surrounded by many friends, old and new. He enjoyed the warmth and the relaxed pace of life, though his heart always remained deeply connected to his family. His greatest achievement was his 54-year marriage to his beloved wife, Anita; their bond was a testament to true partnership and devotion. Ray was a beloved husband to and survived by Anita Rohloff nee Fortini father to Joy (Chuck) Katra, Maria (Corey) Simon and Michael (Sarina) Rohloff. Beloved "Poppie" to Emma, Lily, Kennedy, Jayden, Melina & Santino whom he cherished. Oldest brother to Sue (Gary) Dobstaff, David Rohloff, Larry (Janet) Rohloff, Dawn (Joe) Fabianski, Candice (Gary) Lewis & late Ronald Rohloff. Devoted Brother-in-Law to Maria and his best buddy Frank Szefler, Ruth & Late Leslie Kuntar, Late John & Anna Fortini. Uncle to countless Nieces and Nephews whom he adored. Whether he was being the coach everyone looked up to or the family man who kept everyone laughing, "Big Ray" was a pillar of strength who will be deeply missed.
