Obituary of Jennifer M. Johnson

March 17th, 1967 – April 16th, 2026 Jennifer is best known for her compassion toward others in her roles as a nurse, mother, daughter, and sister. She is deeply proud of her involvement in her children’s lives—serving as a school nurse at their local elementary school, working with the PTA to support field trips and other classroom activities, and participating in major organizations her children joined, such as the Lancaster Marching Band. She made a difference in the lives of her children’s friends and her family members, offering a steady, caring presence in times of hardship and a trusted source of advice. She is a graduate of West Seneca East High School and pursued a nursing degree through Sisters of Charity, which she used to care for others in Western New York as well as Scottsdale, Arizona. Throughout her career, Jen made a lasting impact on others’ lives while building a rich network of friends across the country. Jen was always happiest when helping others, spending time with her family, and with her beloved dog Finnegan. She is the beloved mother of Colton, Brynn, and Ian Johnson; the daughter of Joan (Kuerzdoerfer) and the late John Pitiss; and the sister of John F. (Jill) Pitiss, Jeff (Debbie) Pitiss, and Jeri (Dennis) Luthart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, May 8th from 4:00–8:00 PM at the James W. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 AM at Queen of Heaven Church, 4220 Seneca Street, West Seneca, NY 14224. Please assemble at the church.
