Working with Joe for many years in the same department at HUD gave me great pleasure. Joe was always up beat and I have never known him to get angry or pass judgement of others. He was mild mannered and hard working. I always thought of him as a "good Joe". He would express his beliefs in practicing healthy living and recommended books for me to read on the subject of healthy food choices. As much as he practiced good health, like insisting taking stairs rather then the elevator at work, his love for casinos showed when he invited me to join him at the old downtown casino, albeit smoke filled!!! Joe was very proud of Jennifer's achievements and asked me to accompany him on a visit to meet her at work one day. He proudly told me about her status in the firm. This spoke volumes of his love of family and that nothing else in life had more meaning. My wonderful memories of Joe remain. May he rest in peace. Sincerely with sympathy.
