Living next to Tom for almost 40 years, I got to know him quite well. I always enjoyed listening to him talk about his war stories, he always heaped praise on the military medical personnel for keeping him alive. He also spoke about his days at the steel plant, and the many friendships he made. He was sharp as a tack, right to the very end. He will be sorely missed. RIP Tom, you’ve earned it.
