I met Mary Ann when I was a site manager. about 7 years ago. She moved into the site I was at. Mary Ann was full of laughter and she was also a jokester. One day Mary Ann came to me and said . “I want to move out and get my own apartment”. I responded and said let’s do it. Mary Ann worked so hard to move out on her own. I told her she had a lot of work to do to get to that point. I fought hard for her meeting after meeting to explain Mary Ann was ready. By time I left the company I would check to see if she accomplished her goal. Mary Ann did it !! I was so happy for her.

For the family and friends of Mary Ann,
I remember the first time I saw Mary Ann. She was walking on the sidewalk with one of the other girls in front of Colleen and Reenie's house in Alexandria, VA. I was bringing Tristana over to join in the fun. This was the first of many happy memories of sharing "little girl" happy moments. Whenever I took Tristana home, she would wish she had sisters and not to feel like the "lonely only child." Little did we realize then how quickly time passes and small girls become young women before we are ready for it.
Thank you for sharing Mary Ann with our family. In our sadness - it just doesn't seem like it was enough time for anyone!
Love, Tristana, Bobbie, and the entire Mages Family

My Marebear.
I know somewhere beyond what we can see, you’re already on your next great adventure. With a 40 oz Diet Coke in hand.
I hope wherever this journey has taken you, you have finally found peace. I hope you knew, even in your hardest moments, how much I love you.

One of my favorite Mary Ann memories was when she moved into her brand new apartment. She was so eager and proud to show me. I wanted to steal all of her pink and purple sparkly stuff stuff since we both loved pink.
We walk into the kitchen, and she has a ton of different types of things to drink. It was funny because her beverages took up half her kitchen, and we stood there laughing after she realized how many drinks she had purchased. She just looked at me and said “I mean I get really thirsty”.

One of my favorite memories of Mary Ann goes back to when we lived in Northern Virginia, and Margie would bring the kids down to visit. Every evening when I got home from work, Mary Ann would meet me at the door and ask, without fail, “What did you have for lunch today?” It was such a simple question, but it became a small, special ritual I came to look forward to every day.

So very heartbroken, my thoughts are with Mike, Margi, Matt, Maggie, Maureen, Mike and Brendan. Mary Ann was one of a kind and that made her special. She had a great sense of humor and so quick witted. I remember it like yesterday swimming on Collins and getting all the latest life updates when I would run into her at Delta Sonic. She always made me laugh. I will cherish all the memories over the years with Mary Ann.
With love, Lindsey Wisniewski and family.

I knew Mary Ann growing up in Heritage Farm. We used to play together in the neighborhood when we were 12 or 13. We reconnected in recent years and I am friends with Matt. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
