I have so many fun memories of Kathy . Since the Kane kids had 2 aunt Kathys we were known as good Aunt Kathy and bad aunt Kathy and when we were together each of us thought the other one was the bad aunt. So many loving memories of a wonderful woman . RIP Kath ❤️

Iron and Mrs. were second family to us "boys" in the Village. Whether we were at the house on Raymond St.
or walking over to the office after school, she was always someone you could count on. In this neighborhood we
were fortunate enough to be brought up by "committee." The adult in charge was wherever we happened to "land"
on any given night. All the parents celebrated our accomplishments and picked up the pieces if we crashed and burned.
Many a time we just hung out because there wasn't any better place to be. Some of my best memories were just dropping
in and visiting even if the kids weren't home. "Come on in Sam. Georgie should be home soon." Didn't matter one
bit whether he was or not, I had landed and it was comfortable and safe. Always felt important, respected and
validated. I was MYSELF and THAT WAS VALUED!!! Took all that stuff for granted but will always mean the World
to me ... Sam

I still remember visiting as a youngster.

My wife Cathy and I met Kathy and George in 2008 when we started spending our winters in Florida. We always enjoyed Kathy’s sense of humour and her kindness towards us. 16 years later when we moved back up north we made a point of meeting at a restaurant midway between our houses each summer for lunch and a great visit. There were always lots of laughs and stories to be reminisced.
We will miss these visits but are blessed to be able to have shared time with Kathy and George.
Kathy was a special person who will leave a gap in the lives of all that were lucky enough to know her.
