Obituary of Kathleen M. Danyluk

Passed away peacefully with her beloved husband George of 67 years by her side on May 15, 2026, in Orange City, Florida. Survived by her husband George, her children George (Dawn) Danyluk III , Patty (John) Clark, and Mark (MaryEllen) Danyluk, her grandchildren Jessica, John, Nicholas, Kelsey, Courtney, Mikey, Grace, and Claire, six great-grandchildren and her sister Donna Kane, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Kathy was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret (O’Reilly) McKeown and her brothers Harry and James McKeown. Kathy was born and raised in South Buffalo, NY, where she graduated from Bishop Quigley High School. She met the love of her life, George, and married him in 1959, beginning a beautiful life together that would span 67 years. Together they moved to Hamburg, where they raised their family and built a life centered around love, laughter, and family. Kathy worked in the Building Inspection Department for the Town of Hamburg for 29 years and retired in 2000. Following retirement, Kathy and George enjoyed spending their winters in DeBary, Florida and summers back home in Hamburg. She was an active member of Springville Country Club for many years and was a devoted communicant of St. Peter and Paul Church in Hamburg. She was a warm and friendly person who made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Kathy always put others before herself and had a special gift for making people feel at home and loved with her whole heart. Kathy was the heart and soul of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, kindness, and joy that will continue through all those whose lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, the ordinary moments she made extraordinary will be treasured forever. Friends and family may call on Friday, May 22nd from 3:00-7:00 p.m at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home, Inc., 3155 Orchard Park Road, Orchard Park, NY (716)675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 23rd at 10:00a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Church, 60 Main Street, Hamburg, NY. Please assemble at church. Burial will follow the Mass at Hillcrest Cemetery.
