Passed away May 19, 2026 surrounded by his family after a heroic battle against cancer.
Loving Son of Pamela (Dean) Steger and the late Howard Taylor. Dear brother of Kyle (Nicole) Taylor, James (Sierra) Steger and Jehrid (Eileen) Steger. Uncle of Wesley, Wyatt and Walker Taylor; James, Lucas and Joshua Steger. Dear friend of Rachel, Christin, Taylor and godfather of Lukas. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and family may call Saturday May 30th from 11:00-3:00PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd. 716-675-9027 where a Funeral Service will follow at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo. An enthusiastic fan of Comic-Con and horror movies, he possessed a brilliant appreciation for storytelling, fandom, and the thrillingly unconventional. Yet, above all his varied interests, his greatest and most profound devotion was always to his family.
