It's hard to believe that 49 years ago our paths crossed on a road in Ireland, where hitchhiking was in vogue back in those safe and carefree days when a lift from a "Kerry" man, would become a lifelong friendship. A chance encounter would lead to a change in his life that resulted in the greatest blessings a man could ever have - a beautiful wife, Kathleen, (3) wonderful children: Eion (Maura); Siobhan (Sean) and Brendan, and (3) treasured leprechauns, his grandchildren: Declan, Fiona and Seamus. Frank was warm and generous to everyone he met and always, always, had a song in his heart, and on his lips, and was a dear gentle soul. "May the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear, how much we loved you, Frank and how deeply you will be missed.

My deepest sympahy to Kathleen, Aunt Pat and your families. Frank was a joy to be around and a great reminder of our Irish family heritage. My thoughts are with you during this sad time. I hope that all of the happy memories of Frank's stories, songs and love of life keep him with you every day.
I have two memories to share. One was that my Dad purchased Irish tweed material during one of this trips to Ireland with my Mom. Frank made Dad a blazer from the material and Dad treasured this special gift. Secondly, in 2017 when we were in Buffalo with my Mom and family we had a dinner and this was the first time I found out that Kathleen enjoyed Guinness and Frank preferred Labatt Blue!! I never would have guessed that Frank came to enjoy American beers over Guinness!
Thanks Frank for bringing us such joy and love!

To my dear friend Kathleen and her family, I send my heartfelt sympathy and condolences.
I will always remember Frank’s joyful laughter, his upbeat attitude, and his friendship. He always made you feel welcome. I will cherish the time the three of us had in Dublin, and our times here together.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand, Frank, and may perpetual light shine upon you.
you were one of the finest gentleman I ever knew!
“May you always walk in sunshine. May you never want for more. May Irish angles rest their wings, right beside your door.”

Frank was a wonderful and talented man. Just a few months ago he did a wonderful tailoring job on a sport coat of mine. For many years he was a good friend to my parents who lived next door and especially to my mother after my father passed away. The world lost a good one with Frank's passing. RIP

Our beloved brother-in-law and uncle Frank blessed each of our lives in countless ways. This world couldn’t provide a finer gentleman, family man, and Irishman. Thank you, Frank, for your lilt, your love and your laughter, which filled our days together with joy. And until we meet again: the road shall rise to meet you; the wind shall be always gently at your back; and we shall hold you always in the center of our hearts. Slainte!
With love, tears, hugs and support for all of Team Gregg from all of Team Lin,

Frank lived his life with a song in his heart which often gave rise to his beautiful tenor voice. He delighted in singing the songs of his native Ireland, but the greatest song in his repertoire is the song he wrote himself with the love of his life, Kathleen, at his side over the course of a long life, well lived. It's the song of his beloved family, of a matchless tailor from Kerry, a man of quiet strength and great humor who read voraciously and never stopped learning to satisfy his inquisitive mind, the song of a generous and genuine friend.
Frank may have finished writing his song, but his tune carries on in our hearts.
Love and light to all who know it,
Mary Ra

Rest in peace Frank.
It was a pleasure to meet Frank and his wonderful family when ye all visited Ireland and also when I spent a holiday at your beautiful home many years ago.
Frank was an absolute gentleman, such a kind, engaging and humorous man. There are lots of memories of Frank that I cherish.
My thoughts and prayers are with Kathleen, Eoin, Siobhan, Brendan, and grandkids, along with his extended family and many friends.
May Frank get the best bed in heaven and rest in eternal peace.
Much love from Ireland,
Betty Halpin xxx

Dear Kathleen, Mrs Quinlivan, and all the Gregg, Quinlivan, and Moore families,
Our deepest sympathies are with you all at this very difficult time. It was 49 years ago last month that we met Frank in Ireland and he has enriched every year of our lives since then with his love, his enthusiasm for life, his kindness and generosity, and all of his songs and stories. We couldn’t be more blessed to have been in Frank’s world with his wonderful Kathleen and his fantastic children (and then his grandchildren!). We could talk with Frank for hours and his eyes would always shine the brightest when he talked about his beautiful family. He made us feel that he truly had a piece of heaven with his wonderful family on Michael Road in Orchard Park (home of many “tailoring” stories too!).
During one of the sing-songs at our house not that long ago, Frank sang one of our favorite songs, “Song for Ireland.” The next time we’re on that side of the Atlantic we’ll still be hearing Frank’s wonderful voice and we’ll be asking for more.
Much love,
Eileen and Dan Bowman
