Age 66, at her home in South Buffalo, NY. She entered into rest on Friday, February 21, 2020 after a long, graceful battle with cancer. Devoted wife, of 47 years, to Tom "Ganer": dear mother of Laura (Michael) Gill, Leah Urbina, and Tom (Jessica); Loving JoJo to Charlie, Tori, Jenavieve, Esme, Thomas Robert, Aaron & Arlo Rae; Dear big sister to Nora Jane (Gerald) Whalen and Kevin Barry Hannon: Daughter of the late James and Patricia Hannon: Beloved sister-in-law, adored aunt to many nieces and nephews, and cousin to many. Mary Jo was constantly surrounded by her wonderful friends and neighbors. Family and friends may visit the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. (Southtowns Chapel) 3155 Orchard Park Road, on Sunday from 2-6PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 450 Abbott Road, South Buffalo, NY at 10 AM. Please assemble at church Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Mary Jo's memory to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
