Obituary of Marilyn A. McCarthy

Passed away July 9, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Charles W. McCarthty; Loving mother of Dan (Denise) and the late Charles “Chip” McCarthy; Survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Sister of the late Samuel “David” (late Virginia) Forker; Beloved friend of Bonnie Johnson. Services held privately. No prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the Erie County SPCA. Marilyn retired as an Erie County Public Health Nurse and enjoyed volunteering especially at Shea’s. She was also a member of the St. John Evangelist Altar and Rosary Society and the St. John Vianney Travel Club. The family would like to acknowledge our appreciation to Marilyn’s home health aids who provided wonderful care over the last years including Rene, Brenda, Laura, Tabitha, Enid, Heather, Jaine, Barb, Melanie, Rochelle, Mary and Laine.
