Passed away on November 27, 2023
Beloved wife of the late James E. Smith.
Loving mother of Susan Pappas, Roberta (Donald) Freedenberg,
and the late Michelle (Michael) Schmidt and late Lauren (Timothy) Hayes.
Also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00AM at St. John XXIII Parish 1 Arcade St. West Seneca, NY. (Please assemble at church)
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital and/or FeedMore WNY.
Ruth was a lifetime member of the Reserve Hose Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 20 years.
