Obituary of Paul J. Olszewski

Passed away on March 24, 2024, beloved husband of 35 years of Julia (Cole), dear father of Nathan (Rebecca) and Alex Olszewski, loving grandfather of Olivia Olszewski, son of the late Stanley and Dolores (Wisniewski) Olszewski, son in law of John and MaryAnn Cole, brother of David Olszewski, Mary Ellen (Richard) Sawicki, and Stephen (Kathleen) Olszewski, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Master of fun, games and entertainment at all family gatherings. Loved his special connection with Santa Claus. Loved all animals and was a volunteer and foster dad for many dogs. Enjoyed watching sports and rooting for the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. Paul was also a retired Sergeant of the New York State Department of Corrections after 30 years of service. Friends and family may call on Tuesday {April 2nd} from 3-8PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday {April 3rd} at 10:00AM at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 6441 Seneca Street in Springbrook, NY (please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Roswell Park Cancer Institute and/or Sadie’s Safe Harbor Canine Rescue.
