Aldine M. McGuire went home to her Heavenly Father on Laetare Sunday, March 26 th , 2017. She was born in 1921 in Buffalo’s First Ward, briefly lived in South Buffalo, then resided in the family home in East Aurora for the past 54 years. Aldine was a dedicated and respected nurse serving the Buffalo community as an ER and NICU RN; she served in these roles for 50 years at Mercy Hospital. She was a faithful parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church where she joyfully served as a greeter. Aldine will be most remembered by her active Catholic faith, sense of humor, fashionable dress, and lifelong commitment to her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward McGuire, and by her eldest son, Robert McGuire (Roslyn). She is survived by her children James (Mary Jo), Charles (Mary), Rosemary (Gordon), and Kathleen (John), fourteen grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren. Family will be present Thursday from 4-8:00 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Orchard Park Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 31 st , at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in East Aurora, NY. Online register book at www.CANNANFH.com
