Obituary of Timothy F. Regan

REGAN - Timothy Passed away on September 23, 2023, beloved husband of Mary (Lanigan) Regan, dear father of Maureen, Eileen, Michael (Jennifer) and Brian Regan, loving grandfather of Mary and Jason Williams, Avery, Reese, Keegan and Isla Regan, brother of John (Elaine) Regan and the late Thomas (Mary Ellen) Regan and the late Paul (Jeannie) Regan, also survived by many nieces and nephews. A native of the Old First Ward, Tim was the son of the late Timothy (Teddy) and Mary (Beasley) Regan. He graduated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help grammar school, Bishop Timon High School, and Canisius College. Tim served in the U.S. army from November 1967 to June 1969, and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a U.S. Customs inspector for thirty years, working at border crossings in Niagara Falls and in Buffalo. He and his wife, Mary, celebrated their 50 th wedding anniversary in June. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, crossword puzzles, spending time with his grandchildren, and going out for lunch with his friends from the gym, members of the ROMEO club (Retired Old Men Eating Out). Friends and family may call Tuesday from 3-7:00pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 12:00 NOON at St’s Peter and Paul Church in Hamburg, NY. (please assemble at church). Interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
