Joan and I met in high school and have been friends ever since. She became family as we grew older, she was godmother to my youngest daughter JoAnn and I was godmother to her daughter Laurie. Our friendship lasted over 69 years. She will be missed by all. See you in heaven my friend. Love you. Carol Voelker
