Trisha A Monile February 8, 1968 – January 20, 2024 Trisha Ann Monile, a resident of Orchard Park, NY passed away at her home January 20, 2024 at the age of 55. The daughter of Sharon Ann and George Patrick Gallagher, she was born a twin on Feb 8th, 1968 in the City of Buffalo, NY. Trisha was a graduate of Immaculata Academy. She continued her education at Canisius College graduating with a Master’s degree in English and Reading. It was there that she met the love of her life, Mark Monile. They were married August 18th, 2001 and shared 22 wonderful years of marriage. They were blessed with 3 beautiful children: Ryan, Meghan and Griffin. The family was completed with the addition of beloved dogs Cooper, Carly and Shaquille Monile. Trisha began her teaching career at St. Martin’s Catholic school in South Buffalo followed by several years at Buffalo Elementary School of Technology in Buffalo Public Schools. As their children entered school, she became actively involved for 16 years in the Hamburg School PTSA. She worked tirelessly on committees dedicated to benefit both the children and teachers. Trisha was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, aunt, Godmother, sister, neighbor, teacher and friend. She always showed up for everyone. In support of her children’s interests, she never missed a game, play, concert or important event. She was always the caregiver in so many different ways. She spent the last 4 years taking care of her father. You may have been the recipient of her fabulous chocolate chip cookies or a treat when in need of a special pick me up. You could always count on her for that. Trisha was a devout Catholic all her life and raised her children to be active in their faith as well. Her patience, gentleness and strength were an inspiration to her family and all who knew her. She was a Eucharistic Minister for many years, taught religious education and CCD classes at Saint Bonaventure. Trisha and Mark were members of the Life Teen Youth Ministry Team at Nativity of our Lord Parish. She also participated in the Alumnae Association at Immaculata Academy. Her family are Parishioners of St. Bernadette Church in Orchard Park. Trisha’s life was a testament to strength, resilience, and the power of a loving heart. She touched so many lives with her infectious laugh and endless compassion. She left a legacy of love and kindness that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her. We will continue to honor Trisha by living the values she embodied: love, kindness, and a spirit of generosity. She was one in a million. Monile, Trisha A.
