Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frawley, Michael J. "Mike" A devoted husband of 57 years to Dianne J. Frawley, transitioned peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of loving memories. He was a caring father to Michael (Jill) Frawley and Brian Frawley, and a cherished grandfather to Michael, Kate, and Sarah Frawley. Mike was a beloved brother to Patrick (Christine) Frawley, Nancy (Michael) Martin, Kathleen Frawley, the late Sister Timothy Michael (Mary Lou) Frawley OSF, the late James Callahan (Mary) and Sister Theresa Moore SSJ. He was also a dear brother-in-law to Sister Sharon Erickson RSM, the late Guy Erickson (Lynn), the late James Erickson (Karen), the late Pamela Gunning (John), and Robert Bangel (Paula). Friends may call Monday from 3-7PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 9:00AM at St. Bernadette’s Church 5930 S. Abbott Rd. Orchard Park, NY. Please assemble at church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mike's warm presence was felt by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a proud graduate of Bishop Timon High School where he is enshrined in the Athletic Hall of Fame. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. and completed 34 years of service with the Buffalo Fire Department. As a parishioner of St. Bernadette’s, he was a member of Holy Name. Mike found solace in attending morning mass with a close-knit group of friends who shared regular breakfast gatherings at Tim Hortons. Family and friends were at the heart of Mike's life, and he expressed his love through shared moments and laughter. An avid golfer and life-long athlete, he found joy in the camaraderie of the game. Mike was also known as the luckiest man in games of chance, winning more prizes than could be counted. May the memory of Mike Frawley live on, and may he rest in eternal peace surrounded by the love he so generously shared with those fortunate enough to know him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Mike’s name be made to Bishop Timon St. Jude High School.
