Obituary of Jean A. Hassett

Please share a memory of Jean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Beloved wife of Jack Hassett Dear mother of Kelly (Bill) Kennelly, Kerrie, Kim, and Kevin (Jen) Hassett Loving grandmother of Patrick (Cassie), Tara (Tom), Sean (Alex) Kennelly; John (Alicia), Brendon (Mars), Aidan Webster, Trent and Abby Hassett Daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie (Szejnar) Gerevics; sister of Linda (Joseph) Zabawa and the late Margaret (late Anthony) Starzynski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Friends and family may call on Monday from 3-7 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9:30AM (please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters Hospital NICU and/or Ryan Anthony Starzynski Scholarship Fund. Jean's proudest accomplishment was her family. She fiercely loved and adored her husband Jack, who she shared a love of Las Vegas and visiting the Casino's with. She cherished her children, her sisters, but most especially, and above all else, she adored her grandchildren. She was very active at St Thomas Aquinas Church, where she served as a Lector and a Eucharistic Minister. She loved her Buffalo Bills, but she loved Peyton Manning more. The enormity of her loss cannot be put into words, and her little shoes will never be filled. Our hearts will forever be broken. Our little Jeanne was the most beautiful, strong, fierce woman who ever lived, and we will miss her forever. We Love You Jeanne/Mom/Gramma, and we will miss you always. And....GO BILLS!! (She would expect her daughter Kelly to add that part)
