March 21, 1958 – May 20, 2024 Sally B. Wiesner died peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, May 20, at her home in East Aurora. She was 66. Born Sally Louise Brown in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Lynn H. “Nip” and Kathryn Tacchi “Kate” Brown of East Aurora and a member of the 1976 class of East Aurora High School. She spent most of her life in East Aurora, Buffalo and Rochester working as an account executive in the trade show industry with Hale Northeastern. After her retirement, she spent many years as a caregiver for the elderly, combining empathy with competence as she helped her clients navigate the challenges of daily life. Mrs. Wiesner will be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laugh and readiness to party. She loved golf, both as a player and a spectator. She loved her time spent near the ocean on Cape Cod and in Florida or the Carolinas. She is survived by her children Julia W. (Danny) Lawless of Jacksonville, Florida and Louis J. Wiesner IV of Nashville, Tennessee; former husband Louis J. Wiesner III of Buffalo; twin sister Betsy Ohler of East Aurora; and siblings Jim (Debby) Brown of Joliet, Montana, Jane Brown of Kalispell, Montana, Bruz (Terry) Brown of Derry, New Hampshire and Jody (late Michael Grenda) Brown of Longmont, Colorado; nieces Emma (Brian) Bartolucci, Mariah (Mark Nurmi) Ohler, Jessie (Jordan) Wagner and Addie Ohler; nephews Gabriel Ohler, Jake Brown and Chris Nelson; and several grandnieces and nephews. A memorial for Mrs. Wiesner will be held at a later date.
