Beloved husband of the late Florence (Schemm) Dear father of Tim(Pauline) McNamara, David(Allyson) McNamara, Laurie McNamara-Marrale and the late Brian McNamara. Loving grandfather of Rachel (Joe) Beilein, Michelle (Chris) Ostrander, Curran (Kara) McNamara, Jule (Will) Basil and Haley McNamara, Gabrielle, Brian (Andrea) and Janine (Max) Cool. great grandfather of Connor, Florence, Parker, Clara, Josephine and Georgie. Brother of the late Robert (late Penny) McNamara. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 4-8PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC (Southtowns Chapel) 3155 Orchard Park Road, A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00AM at St. John Vianney Church. (please assemble at church). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo and/or Roswell Park Foundation. Mr. McNamara was a summertime resident of Snyder Beach for 65 years, a member of the IOUE Local 17, a retired Buffalo Firefighter and a longtime member of the St. John Vianney Golf League.
