Obituary of Murphy J. Ryan

Age 26, of Butler Township PA, formerly of Cranberry Township PA, and Niagara Falls NY, passed away tragically on Sunday, June 16, 2024 after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born December 4, 1997, son of Martin Ryan and Kathleen (Cummings) Bogue. Murphy leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved parents, Martin (Kimberly) Ryan, and Kathleen (Charisma) Bogue; Siblings, Kaileen Ryan and Connor Bogue; Step-siblings Katelyn Ryan, Allison Ryan and Benjamin Frenchak;, most loving and giving Grandparents Timothy and Mary Jane Cummings, Anthony Ryan, MaryJo (William) Murphy, and Louis and Linda Green. Murphy recently worked for Roice Construction in Gibsonia, PA; and formerly for B&T Construction in Niagara Falls, NY where he was a sitework contractor, heavy equipment operator & Foreman. He loved outdoor activities including; snowmobiling, skiing, hiking and fishing (which he adored sharing with his brother Connor); and golfing with “Papa” Cummings and his uncles. Murphy most especially loved driving anything with an engine – from large construction equipment to motorcycles. It cannot be overstated, that Murphy absolutely loved and cherished spending time with family and friends – to include his dog Komatsu (Zu). Anyone who ever met him, loved him for his happy, confident, funny, and loving personality. While Murphy had many friends, especially dear to him were Mike and Laurel Macher, Kelli Macher, Gabbi Macher and Rege Scholl. His friends and family describe him as someone who has always showed up as his true authentic self for any and every circumstance in life, the type of friend who helped someone out because he-can with no questions or judgement, he was everyones favorite, he was the best of us, to know him was to love him, Genuine is the word we see repeated by a lot of recent posts honoring Murphy. He loved a campfire surrounded by friends, laughter and good stories. He had great values and a huge heart and said that his purpose in life was to help others. He will be loved and missed by so many. Family and friends are welcome on Friday from 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. Additional visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 3-6pm at Cannan Funeral Home, 3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127 from 3-6PM. A Funeral Service will take place at 5:00PM.
