Q: What will you never forget about Joann?
A: Mrs Fisher- someone I’ve known my whole life. Who gave me a great friend in her daughter Joann. Who was so incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren. Who loved her husband so much that it made you want your relationships to be as sweet. She was a neighbor who made sure that all the kids in the neighborhood felt safe (especially crossing McKinley Pkwy and Ridgewood) and cared about (also gave giant Hershey bars to my kids at Halloween). She loved to “visit” and make sure all was good with you.
She was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The envy of many South Buffalo women but she would deny that. She was a great example to all of us on how to be a great person, friend, mother, woman and wife.
She will be greatly missed my so many but she is right where she wants to be now. She has returned to the side of her greatest love, her husband.
Rest in peace and continue to watch over all of us down here.
