SCANLON, Mark P., passed away suddenly on November 6, 2024, beloved husband of Amanda Chauncey-Scanlon, dear father of Connall (Jessica) Keane, loving “Papa” of Lyla and Weston, dearest son of Paula (Kuntz) Scanlon and the late John P. “Scanoots” Scanlon, brother of John M., Kara Scanlon, Michael (Jeanne), Brian, Christopher (Katie) and Patrick (Sinead) Scanlon, son in law of Ronald and Nancy (Kaestle) Chauncey, brother in law of Allyson (Eric) Odachowski, Andrea (Dean) Newman and Ryan (Kayla) Chauncey, also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends may call on Monday from 3-7:00 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park, (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Basilica (please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the WNY Law Enforcement Help Line - www.wnylawenforcementhelpline.org. A Sergeant with the Erie County Sheriff's Department, Mark was a lover of life. He spent his time on the golf course and in nature. He was fiercely loving, and protective of his family and friends, especially his adored wife, Amanda. Online register book at www.CANNANFH.com
